Hard Times

So my friend Kirby Chandler went on a Mexican Cruise with her best friend Lauren and Lauren's mom Val. If I remember right they left on the seventh of July and they were going to come home on Fathers Day. It sounded like it was going to be so much fun! I wanted to go so bad! I was at work when my sister called me on Wednesday during that week, and she left me a message. I listened to the message as I was walking out of the store and Jetti said something like this. " Hey Ky I just wanted to call and let you know, well not really let you know this isn't a happy message. {ok that freaked me out I wanted to know what had happened to the AZ people} and then Jett started into this. "So you know how Kirby went to Mexico for her senior trip. Well the rented scooters or something and Lauren's mom hit a tree and died!" OMG I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! Jett also went on to explain that Kirby and Lauren were coming home that day. When I got off the phone I text Kirby to make sure she was ok and to see what I could do to help her in anyway. I didn't hear back from her until Friday, which was totally fine I just wanted to know she was ok. I went to her house on Saturday just to talk and see she wanted to get out and do something, so she wasn't just sitting at home. When I got there me, Kirb, and Lane (Kirby's mom) talked for like 2 or 3 hours about everything and nothing. Kirby told me what happened in Mexico. I'm not going to go into detail, because it is to hard to do. So we just talked for a while and then I notice that Kirby kept going into her kitchen and just walking out. I asked Kirb if she was hungry and when she said yes I told her we were going to lunch and to get dressed. It was so fun at lunch. I'm glad she came with me! The times a head are going to be hard for Kirby and Lauren! I want them to both know that I love them and I'm here if they need anything.
