It is official...

I have been home for a year... It really is crazy! All of those returned missionaries know what I'm talking about. On February 19th I met my oldest niece, Atlee. It was so fun. I was so glad we were able to have a long layover in AZ. I was so excited to see Erik, Teresa, and Scott. I love them, and I really wanted to spend tonz of time with them, but I was happy to have the layover. As I walked out into the airport I saw them. Atlee was walking out toward us, and she came straight to me!! I was so excited!!! She was so cute. As we all sat and talked a lady with a dog came up and sat near us. Atlee loves dogs and she walked right up to the lady and started playing with the dog. Honestly one of the cutest things I have seen.

I really wasn't really happy when it was time to leave... Well I guess that isn't really true I was excited to see more of my family, but I didn't want to leave my AZ family. So Mom, Dad, and I got on the plane and left Jetti, Scott, Erik, Teresa, and Atlee in AZ. I didn't really know who would be at the Salt Lake Airport, because Clayton was my only sibling that lived in Utah. I knew he would be there with Paul and Grandma. I started to get really excited about seeing my family. I was so anxious as we started to land and I could see Salt Lake. I really didn't know what to think. I was so happy and sad I was missing Little Rock and I couldn't wait to be back in Sandy. Finally we landed and we were headed out to see my family. I was so excited when I got on the escalator and saw who was there. It was Clayton, Paul, and Grandma. Then I was surprised to see Brian (my cousin), Leisha (Brian's wife), their son Brennan, and his new wife Chie. One of my best friends was also there, Karri. It was so fun to see everyone there. I love all of them so much. I was so thankful to see them. I don't have great pictures of this wonderful event in my life, because I was too excited to hold still enough to get a good picture. Here are some of the pictures. I really do love them, because you can see how excited our faces are.

This is the group... see how well we were able to hold still...

This is me and Clayton. So fun. This picture kind of makes me cry. I really missed him!

Me and Grandma. I was so happy to see her!! I love my Grandma Heugly.

Karri and Paul with a CUTE sign and BALLOONS. Lady made that sign for me. It was so cute.

Brian and Leisha, and Clayton. They are fun and really funny.

Karri also made this awesome sign. I still have both of them!! Thank you LADY!!

The group sitting around talking

We talked for a little while. It was a long day and I was sleepy!

Clayton and my mom took the rest of the week off and we had fun talking and I tried to be my self again. Not go back to who I was before my mission, but be the new me at home. I really had a great time with them.

I was released the day after I got home at 6:00pm. That was really hard for me. I don't think I will ever forget that day and what it felt like to have the pressure of missionary work taken from me. That is something I would love to get back!
