As promised here is a post about my awesome nephew. He was born on 11/11/11 just like Mommy Jetti ordered. I'm so thankful that I was able to be with Jetti and Scott for most of the day. That really was an amazing day. I can't even express how excited and nervous I was. I won't go into too much detail of that day, but I will say that I will never forget how proud Scott looked as he came to tell us Duke was here and that everything went well for Jett and Duke during the c-section. And there's no way I can for get Jetti looking at the pictures of her baby for the first time. Really it was beautiful.
Duke is such a good baby!
We have been having a lot of fun with him since he joined the family. He made it just in time for Thanksgiving. He stayed in a bedroom while the family was together and he was admired from afar.
He was also able to make it to the Santa party inDecember. He looked so cute in his "My first Christmas" outfit. Like I said he is such a good baby and slept though the party. He even did great with Santa. Sorry no Santa picture, but here is one with Papa Leland. One proud Papa.
Jetti having a baby is still kind of crazy to think about, but it has been a fun three months for me. I'm so thankful that I get to see him as often as I do. Now that I live in Provo I'm only fifteen minutes away. I love it! Nieces and Nephews are so fun!!!
Elise (Ryan and Kimi's little one) totally loves Duke. Every time we talk about Jett and Scott Elise jumps in with "Baby Duke" and then shortly after that we would hear "doggies" Jetti and her babies sure are loved my Elise.
And clearly I'm a fan of this little man! How could anyone not love his face! I love him so much!! It has been fun to have Duke and Elise so close. I love being an aunt so much!! It is hard to have two of my nieces in Arizona, but at the same time it's really fun to spend a weekend with them. Oh man I love being an aunt so much!!!
